Good times at the 2008 Easter Egg Hunt

The 2008 Easter Egg Hunt took place on Saturday, March 22nd. While we worried about the weather all week and even Saturday morning, the weather ended up on our side and being perfect! Sunny, not too chilly, perfect for hunting for eggs, hopping around in a potato sack and having a good time on the swings!
Thanks to all of you who came and participated. A big THANKS to Janet who was our photographer, and to Becky for helping me stuffing over 300 eggs saturday night!
We hope everyone enjoyed the Hunt. Feel free to download or order pictures. Just click on the Picasa Link below.
HAPPY EASTER TO ALL!

I am happy to announce that our Knowltonwood google group and this web site are now linked.
Whenever someone will write a posting or publish pictures on this blog, an email will go out automatically to the Knowltonwood google group, letting everyone know about it.

Anyone interested in being our KCA Easter Bunny?

We are hosting the KCA Easter Egg Hunt and I was wondering if anyone in the neighborhood had an Easter Bunny costume and would like to perform at our event. I think the kids would be thrilled.
If anyone does, please reply below.
Thanks in advance

Babysiting anyone?

Do we have any teenagers interested in babysitting in the area?
I myself have 2 children, ages 3 and 2, and I had to go online in order to find a babysitter. People answered me from Philadelphia, Conshohocken, Wilmington...I thought: what a shame! there must be someone in my neighborhood who would be interested making a couple bucks here and there babysitting. Well, I never found anyone here and wasnot too sure how to look, so I ended up hiring this person from Aston that I found online.
Nonetheless, I am sure we are not the only family with that problem in the area.
Another idea is to help eachother: let's say you have a sick child and you need to pick up your other child at school or daycare, I will be glad to just stop by to babysit for 30 minutes....

If anyone is interested or in the same situation, please reply to this blog.
